3,205 new COVID cases in Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati: There is a spurt in coronavirus disease cases in Andhra Pradesh, with 3,205 testing positive for COVID out of the 41,954 samples tested during the past 24 hours, according to an official release here on Wednesday.

However, there were no deaths recorded during the period.

With this, the total number of COVID cases recorded in the state so far has risen to 20,87,879 and the death toll 14,505.

Also, 281 patients had recovered during the past 24 hours, taking the number of people discharged to 20,63,255 till date. At present, there are 10,119 active cases in the state, the Medical and Health department said.
