Hyderabad: The 35-year-old woman who had reached Hyderabad international airport from the UK, one of the at-risk countries, has tested negative for Omicron, health officials here on Monday said.

The international traveller, a resident of Rangareddy district, had arrived at the Shamshabad international airport on December 1 and tested positive after an RTPCR test. Since then, she is under care at TIMS, Gachibowli and her medical condition is stable without any Covid symptoms.

Meanwhile, the genome sequencing results of the remaining 12 passengers, who reached Shamshabad international airport from at-risk countries and tested Covid positive in RTCPR tests, are expected to arrive by Monday evening, officials added.
