37-year-old man drowns at Osmansagar lake in Gandipet

A 37-year-old man, Srinivasulu, drowned at Osmansagar Lake in Gandipet on Saturday evening while bathing. Search efforts by police were initially unsuccessful, and his body was recovered the following day with help from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).

Hyderabad: A 37-year-old man who went to take a bath at the Osmansagar lake drowned on Saturday evening.

According to the police, Srinivasulu (37) went to take a bath at the Gandipet on Saturday evening. His mother also went to the place to wash clothes.

“Srinivasulu entered the water to take a bath and drowned. On information, the police tried to search for him, but the exercise proved futile. On Sunday, with the help of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), the body was retrieved,” said Narsingi police. A case is registered.
