Hyderabad: A total of 38,441 candidates were allotted degree seats in the special phase of seat allotment through the Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) 2021.
While 39,671 candidates exercised web options in the special phase admissions, 1,230 candidates could not be allotted seats as they exercised a limited number of options.
In a press release on Wednesday, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education said candidates who received seat allotment have to reserve their seat through self-reporting online by paying Rs.500 or Rs.1,000 (as the case may be) in the DOST candidate login.
Students who were allotted to the government degree/university colleges and provisionally eligible for ePass fee reimbursement need not pay any amount for online self-reporting to reserve the allotted seat, it said.
Candidates of the special phase have to reserve the seat by self-reporting online and report physically to the college concerned on or before November 26. Candidates will forego their allotted/self-reported seat if they fail to report physically to the college concerned before the deadline.
Web options for intra-college phase-II admissions will be available from November 27 to 29 and seats will be allotted on November 30. The spot admissions in all private un-aided colleges and self-finance courses in the private aided colleges can be done from November 30 to December 2, it added.
