4-month-old baby dies in private hospital, family alleges negligence in Mancherial

Mancherial: Family members alleged that negligence by doctors of a private hospital led to the death of their four-month-old baby boy. They staged a sit-in in front of the hospital on Thursday, demanding action against the doctors.
Shekhar and Soundarya from Yapa village in Kasipet mandal said they admitted their baby as he was unwell, but he died while undergoing treatment. They claimed that negligence during treatment caused the death and insisted that the tragedy could have been avoided had the doctors handled the case properly.
Police rushed to the spot and advised the family to resolve the issue amicably. They said no case was registered as no complaint was received. The hospital management and the family members reportedly reached a compromise.
