40 candidates felicitated for cracking govt jobs in Adilabad
Akhila (17) and Vijaya (17), both intermediate students from a college in Medak town, were involved in an accident while waiting to board a bus in Narsingi. They routinely traveled by bus to Medak for their studies. The Papannapet police have taken the bus driver into custody. The injured students were immediately rushed to the government hospital in Medak for treatment, where one of them is reported to be in critical condition. A case has been registered regarding the incident.

Adilabad: Forty candidates from Padmashali community were felicitated for cracking posts with various government departments, at a programme held here on Sunday evening. Local MLA Payal Shankar was the chief guest of the event.
Shankar and members of Padmashali Officers and Professionals Association (POPA) felicitated the candidates with a shawl and memento for securing jobs such as teachers and some other posts recently. Shankar said that he would strive hard to create a BC study circle in Adilabad town for the convenience of aspirants of government jobs soon.
POPA district president Betha Ramesh, general secretary Chiluka Vilas, leaders of the community Shiva Kumar, Lachiram, Chandramohan, Bommakanti Ramesh, Katam Ramdas, Vittal, Basa Dattu, Rakesh Padmawar, Thumma Nagaraju, Gajula Hanumadlu and BAR association president Nagesh were present.
