Nalgonda: A 40-years aged man Singarapu Gopi was hacked to death by unidentified persons at Regulagadda of Nodmanoor mandal in Nalgonda district on Friday night. Locals found the body of Gopi in a cattle-shed near his house at the village and alerted the police. Miryalaguda DSP Y Venkateshwar Reddy visited the spot and inquired the locals about the incident. A dog squad was also rushed to the spot and took up the search for CLUES at the spot.
According to the police, Gopi was hacked to death with axes when he was lying unconscious in a cattle-shed after consuming liquor. Gopi was eking a livelihood by working as a daily labourer at Hyderabad and came to his native place for Dasara. It is learnt that the police took three persons, who consumed liquor with the victim on the night, into custody and inquiring them.
