44 DSP-rank officers transferred in Telangana; New postings announced

Hyderabad: The Director General of Police (DGP), Telangana, on Saturday ordered the transfer and new postings of 44 officers holding the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) across various departments and commissionerates.

The reshuffle includes transfers within law enforcement, narcotics control, traffic, and special operation units.


Below are some key appointments from the list:

  • B Kishan Kumar – ACP, Asifnagar
  • G Shyam Sundar – ACP, Mirchowk
  • K Shankariah – DSP, Anti-Narcotics Bureau
  • P Sattiah – ACP, Special Operations Team (SOT), Rachakonda
  • Y Nageshwar Rao – ACP, CCS, Cyberabad
  • K Chandra Shekar Reddy – ACP, Madhapur (Traffic)
  • Y Narsimha Reddy – DSP, GHMC
  • P Srinivas – Posted to DGP Office

The transfers are part of a routine administrative reshuffle aimed at optimizing operational efficiency across key law enforcement units in the state.
