Hyderabad: In a major catch, the EAGLE Force of Telangana police and Narcotics Control Bureau, Ranchi unit caught a man and seized 500 kg of ganja on Wednesday.
The arrested person is identified as Naseem Kamruddin (30), a resident of Haryana.
Acting on specific information, the EAGLE Force, Khammam team and NCB team trapped a truck on the Andhra Odisha Border.
“The driver, Naseem, had loaded the ganja consignment from Malkangiri district in Odisha and was on his way to deliver it to a person, Mushtaq Ahmed, in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. On information, the truck was identified and caught at Ranchi – Rurkela Road, Jharkhand and seized 500 kgs of ganja,” said the officials.
