Hyderabad: A woman was killed, allegedly by her relative, at Kushaiguda on Saturday.
The victim, P Lalitha (55), a resident of Charkipuram in Kushaiguda and a native of Gujarat, was visiting her relative Shankar at Sri Krishna Colony in Kushaiguda. Shankar, a tailor along with his wife and son Arjun, had left for their shop while Lalitha was alone in the house.
“Around 2 pm, Arjun returned to the house from the shop and is suspected to have killed Lalitha by hitting her on the head with a boulder. The suspect was suffering from mental health issues and in the past was admitted to a rehabilitation center,” Kushaiguda police said.
A case was booked and investigation is on.
