Hyderabad: As many as 5,469 pending court cases of all categories and 39 pre-litigation cases were settled up to 5 pm in all districts in the State during a virtual Lok Adalat conducted on Saturday.
An amount of Rs 20.8 crore was awarded as compensation in the settled cases, according to Telangana State Legal Services Authority (TSLSA) member secretary G Anupama Chakravarthy.
Following instructions issued by the National Legal Services Authority, TSLSA organised the first virtual Lok Adalat in the State. TSLSA Patron-in-Chief and Telangana High Court Chief Justice Raghvendra S Chauhan inaugurated Lok Adalat and viewed it in Ranga Reddy district.
