Hyderabad: A man was found dead in the balcony of his house at Rajnagar Maktha in Khairatabad here on Friday. He had ligature marks around his neck. Police are investigating if he died by suicide or was murdered.
The man, identified as Laxman Jha (30), was a security guard. Police said the body was found on the floor in the balcony at 8 am by his wife, who informed his brother Bihari Jha.
Bihari Jha rushed to the house and seeing the marks on Laxman’s neck, raised suspicion over the death and lodged a complaint with the Punjagutta police, who have booked a case and are investigating. The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.
