5th edition of GAMA awards 2025 theme song unveiled

As a prelude to the main event, the theme song for GAMA 2025 was launched in Dubai on Saturday, June 21, at a special event organised by Keinfra Properties.

Hyderabad: The 5th edition of the prestigious GAMA (Gulf Academy Movie Awards) is all set to take place on August 30, 2025, at the Sharjah Expo Centre in Dubai. Known for celebrating Telugu cinema on a global stage, the event promises a grand celebration with top stars, technicians, and performances.

As a prelude to the main event, the theme song for GAMA 2025 was launched in Dubai on Saturday, June 21, at a special event organised by Keinfra Properties. Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose penned the song, while Raghu Kunche composed and performed it live, impressing the Telugu community present at the launch.


Ahead of the main awards night, the GAMA Excellence Awards will be held on August 29 at the same venue, recognising outstanding personalities from various fields.

The star-studded guest list includes actors Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Teja Sajja, Kiran Abbavaram, Sree Vishnu, and Roshan, along with heroines Meenakshi Chaudhary and Daksha Nagarkar. Glamorous performances are expected from Urvashi Rautela, Ketika Sharma, Faria Abdullah, Priya Hegde, and Sridevi.

Veteran comedian Brahmanandam, directors Sukumar, Buchi Babu Sana, Bobby, and Sai Rajesh, music directors Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman, lyricist Chandrabose, and producer Ashwini Dutt, among others, are expected to grace the event. Several surprise appearances from top Tollywood stars are also on the cards.

The awards will honour all 24 crafts of Tollywood, with winners chosen through public voting for films released in 2024. The GAMA Awards are considered one of the most respected international events for Telugu cinema.

GAMA Chairman Trimurtulu urged the Telugu community to participate and make the 5th edition a huge success. GAMA CEO Saurabh Kesari shared that the venue can accommodate 10,000 attendees and that the audience can expect entertaining programs and dance shows.

In the previous edition, RRR won the Movie of the Decade, while Allu Arjun (Pushpa: The Rise), Nikhil Siddhartha (Karthikeya 2) and Anand Deverakonda (Baby), won Best Actor awards for 2021, 2022, and 2023 respectively.
