6-year-old boy from Chhattisgarh kidnapped at Tirupati
CCTV footage showed that a man sitting next to the boy and appeared to read a newspaper, took the boy away along with him
Tirupati: The kidnap of a six-year old boy near Alipiri bus stand here has caused a sensation in the town.
According to police, the family members of Sivam Kumar Sahu came here on February 27 from Chhattisgarh for darshan of Sri Balaji at Tirumala temple. They were taking a breather on the pavement before going to Tirumala and suddenly the boy went missing.
On a complaint, police scanned the CCTV footage which showed that a man sitting next to them and appeared to read a newspaper, took the boy away along with him. The police are examining the footage and formed search teams to trace the boy.
