Hyderabad: Sixty Indian citizens, including those from Hyderabad who were stranded in Bahrain, have safely returned to the country following coordinated efforts by the Central and Telangana governments.

The mission involved diplomatic coordination by the Government of India, including securing transit visas from Saudi Arabia to enable the journey. The affected families also appreciated the assistance provided by the Bahrain Telugu Association and Gulf Air, which helped connect them with government authorities during the process.

Members of the Telugu community in Bahrain also extended humanitarian support to the stranded group between February 28 and March 10 by arranging food and other essentials.
