Warangal: A 600 acre site has been identified at Jakkaloddi on the outskirts of Warangal city for the ‘Telangana Vijaya Garjana’ meeting marking 20 years of formation of Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS), which realised the long pending dream of Statehood for Telangana, Government Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said here on Sunday.
Addressing a press conference along with the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) chairman Marri Yadava Reddy at a hotel here, the Warangal West MLA said that they had finalised the site at Jakkaloddi after inspecting several sites around Warangal as the site is suitable for the massive meeting.
“Nearly 10 lakh people including TRS party members, leaders and others are going to attend this meeting. We are going to operate 20, 000 buses to transport the people to the meeting,” Vinay Bhaskar said, adding that there was sufficient space for parking of the vehicles from every nook and corner of Telangana. “We urge the party leaders to make the meeting a big success. While the preparatory meetings for the Telangana Vijaya Garjana in all the Assembly constituencies will be held on October 27, our preparatory meeting will be held in Warangal on October 29 as we have to attend a ‘court peshi’ in connection with a case registered against several leaders of the party from Warangal during the Telangana movement,” he added.
