Hyderabad: The 64 Yogini Trail painting exhibition by Dr Beena Unnikrishnan, Artist & Curator, will be held at Gallery 78, Silpa Hills, Khanamet, Near HITEX, from March 26 to 28, between 11 am and 7 pm.
Ekaa: The One is a national travelling exhibition presenting the complete collection of 64 Yogini paintings by Dr Beena Unnikrishnan, reimagining India’s ancient Yogini tradition through a contemporary artistic lens and placing it within today’s cultural and social dialogue. Part of an ambitious journey across 16 states over 81 days, the exhibition is a significant initiative celebrating the sacred feminine.
Dr Beena Unnikrishnan is an artist and cultural leader with over three decades of experience across art, community development, and the creative economy, and is best known for her work on the 64 Yoginis and the Nakshatra series, which form the foundation of Ekaa: The One.
She is the Founder of KT-ACED, supporting under-resourced artists and promoting gender-inclusive creative ecosystems, and is regarded as a key contemporary voice in reviving India’s feminine spiritual heritage through art.
