69 flights cancelled at Hyderabad airport as IndiGo crisis deepens

A total of 69 flights were cancelled at Hyderabad’s RGI Airport on Saturday amid IndiGo’s operational crisis. With more disruptions expected, IndiGo says full stability will return only by February 10, 2026, and will cut flight operations from December 8.

HYDERABAD: Chaos continued at the RGI Airport on Saturday as a total of 69 flights were cancelled by the airlines.

According to airport authorities 26 flights arriving from different places to Hyderabad and 43 scheduled for different destinations from Hyderabad were cancelled on Saturday leaving travellers in a lurch.


The airline’s CEO, Pieter Elbers, told the staff that normalising operations and bringing back punctuality will not be an “easy target”.

IndiGo has informed the that corrective actions are underway, stable flight operations will be fully restored by February 10, 2026 while more cancellations are expected in the next few days.

The airline will reduce flight operations from December 8 to minimise disruptions.
