Hyderabad: A 70-year-old man was found murdered at his residence in Siddanthi under RGIA Police Station limits on Monday night.
The victim, identified as Soudaiah, was reportedly attacked by unidentified persons sometime between 7 pm and 11 pm.
According to police, neighbours alerted authorities after noticing suspicious activity at the victim’s house. Responding personnel found Soudaiah dead with injury marks, indicating a possible assault.
RGIA police have registered a murder case and begun investigation. Efforts are underway to verify CCTV footage, examine the crime scene and identify suspects. The motive behind the killing is yet to be established.
