Hyderabad: The Covid-19 vaccine administration drive for eligible individuals above 18 years in Telangana is continuing at a brisk pace with the State Health Department managing to administer the second dose of Covid vaccines to 72 per cent of the beneficiaries.

The State Health Department has already administered the first dose of the Covid vaccine to 100 per cent of the eligible beneficiaries and now has set itself a target of expediting the second dose to as many individuals as possible in January.

There are 2,77,67,000 individuals who are above 18 years in Telangana and eligible for the administration of Covid vaccines. So far 2,83,40,407 individuals had received the first dose and 2,00,52,678 had received the second Covid dose, according to the health bulletin.
