93 child labourers rescued in Adilabad, says SP Akhil Mahajan
In a successful operation called Operation Muskan, 93 child labourers were rescued in Adilabad on July 31. The rescued children, including 26 from other states, will now be enrolled in schools as part of a larger effort to eradicate child labor in the region.

Adilabad: Police said that 93 child labourers were freed during Operation Muskan, which concluded in the district on July 31.
SP Akhil Mahajan said that 28 cases were booked against eateries, brick kilns, and building construction agencies and other establishments for employing child labourers.
As many as 86 boys and seven girls were rescued during the month-long drive aimed at eradicating the child labor menace. Of them, 26 victims were from other states, he elaborated.
The IPS officer further said that steps were being taken to send the victims to schools by creating awareness among their parents. He stated that stern action would be taken against those who violate the law. He added that the drive was successfully conducted with the help of labor, education, health and NGOs.
