95.16% qualify in Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test
A total of 95.93 per cent have qualified out of 6,699 girls who had appeared, while of the 16,968 boys who took the entrance test, 94.85 per cent have qualified.

Hyderabad: Girls have outperformed boys in the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) 2021.
A total of 95.93 per cent have qualified out of 6,699 girls who had appeared, while of the 16,968 boys who took the entrance test, 94.85 per cent have qualified.
The results of the TS ECET 2021 were released by Telangana State Council of Higher Education chairman, Prof. T Papi Reddy and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad Vice Chancellor, Prof. Katta Narasimha Reddy here on Wednesday.
A total of 23,667 candidates appeared of whom 22,522 qualified in the entrance test translating the overall qualifying percentage to 95.16.
As per the TS ECET 2021 admission schedule announced earlier, the first phase of admission counselling will commence from August 24.
Candidates should fill basic information online, pay the processing fee and book a slot for certificate verification between August 24 and 28, and certificate verification is scheduled to take place from August 26 to 29.
After certificate verification, students can exercise their web options from August 26 to 31 and they will be allotted seats on September 2. On receiving seat allotment, candidates should pay tuition fee and self-report online through the website between September 2 and 7.

The TS ECET is conducted for diploma and BSc Mathematics degree holders for lateral entry admissions into second-year BE/BTech and BPharmacy courses in the State.
