Hyderabad: A total of 97.58 per cent (29,861) have qualified out of 30,600 candidates who appeared for Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) 2020.
The results of the entrance test were announced by Telangana State Council of Higher Education chairman Prof. T Papi Reddy at Osmania University here on Wednesday.
This year, Sara Tulasi of Sangareddy (Biological Sciences), Lakshmi Gayatri Mallavarapu of Hyderabad (English), Yedire Shravan Kumar of Vikarabad (Mathematics), Yesuraju Sreenu of Suryapet (Physical Sciences), Velgam Satheesh of Jayashankar Bhupalpally (Social Studies) bagged first rank in their respective methodologies.
Similarly, Noor Jahan of Rangareddy (Arabic), Gangi Veda Kiran of Medchal-Malkajgiri (Hindi), Pokkuluri Krishnamurthy of Bhadradri Kothagudem (Sanskrit), Shaik Anwar of Jagtial (Telugu), Asma Imroz of Khammam (Urdu) have secured first rank in their respective oriental languages.
