9th Armed Forces Veterans Day Celebrations from Jan 10-14 in Secunderabad

Hyderabad: The 9th Armed Forces Veterans Day Celebrations will be held from January 10 to 14 at Secunderabad under the aegis of Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA). A series of events have been planned aiming to provide job opportunities, medical attention and grievance resolution of all types in respect of our Veterans and dependents.
The events planned include a job fair by Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO) for ESM and their dependants on January 10 at Golden Palm Sainik Bhavan (GPSB), Monda Market, Secunderabad, and a medical camp at MH Golconda on January 11, a press release said.
During the event, an effort would be made on January 13 and 14 towards resolution of grievances of veterans at Mukhtiyar Hall, AOC Centre, Secunderabad. Various record offices, ECHS, AWPO, Veterans Cell would be establishing their stalls to provide on the spot resolution of grievances of veterans. Separate stalls for senior veterans, differently-abled persons and widows would also be established.
The event would culminate with Veterans Day Celebrations on January 14 wherein Major General Ajay Misra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) will interact with the veterans.
