A2H U-15 Chess: Sujay Bobbili and Rihanshika crowned champions

In the A2H Children’s Under-15 Chess Tournament held in Hyderabad, Sujay Bobbili of Hindu Public School emerged champion in the boys’ category with a flawless score of five out of five. Dara Gowtham Griffin and A. Pardhu Naga Sai followed in second and third spots, respectively.

Hyderabad: Sujay Bobbili of Hindu Public School and T. Rihanshika of Genesis International School won the boys and girls titles respectively in the A2H Children’s Under-15 Chess Tournament here on Friday.

In the fifth and final round Sujay outwitted Arvik to clinch the title with a perfect score of five points from as many rounds.

Dara Gowtham Griffin and A. Pardhu Naga Sai scored four points each and due to tie break order Gowtham secured runner-up prize, while Pardhu finished third.

In the girls section, Rihanshika was the winner and Shaik Shazwa the runner-up.

Final placings:

Boys: 1. Sujay Bobbili, 2. Dara Gowtham Griffin, 3. Alla Pardhu Naga Sai, 4. Arvik Aditya Nutinkim, 5 .Tejovrish Gangaraju, 6. K. Karthik Reddy, 7. Jai Ganesh, 8. Amardeep Vysyaraju, 9. Arjun Reyansh.

Girls: 1.T. Rihanshika, 2. Shaik Shazwa, 3 .T. Shirly, 4. Riyanshi Dhanvi Nutinki.
