Hyderabad: Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), a test preparatory services provider, on Friday signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Indian Army and paramilitary forces to enhance educational access and welfare support for personnel and their families across the country.

The collaborations have been designed to extend structured scholarships, academic mentoring, career guidance and nationwide coaching access to serving personnel, veterans, gallantry awardees, disabled members of the forces and families of martyrs.

Except for the registration fee, a 100 percent fee waiver has been extended to the wards of Indian Army personnel who died while in harness. Similarly, a 100 percent tuition fee waiver has been announced for the wards of personnel with more than 20 percent disability and gallantry awardees, and a 20 percent tuition fee waiver for the wards of serving and retired personnel. Similar waivers have been extended to BSF, CRPF and ITBP personnel and their families.

According to Aakash Educational Services Limited Managing Director and CEO Chandra Sekhar Garisa Reddy, through the partnerships, Aakash hopes to expand access to quality academic resources and support defence families in achieving educational success. “This is another step in creating an opportunity for us to give back to our military community,” Reddy added.
