Telangana: Abandoned newborn baby rescued in Nizamabad
According to the police, the baby was admitted to GGH hospital and provided treatment. They said after the betterment of the infant health condition, the baby would be shifted to the ICDS child protection centre.
Nizamabad: Unknown persons abandoned a newborn baby boy in a garbage bin at Khaleelwadi area of Nizamabad city. The police, who were informed by residents of the area, shifted the baby to the Nizamabad GGH hospital on Friday.
According to the police, the baby was admitted to GGH hospital and provided treatment. They said after the betterment of the infant health condition, the baby would be shifted to the ICDS child protection centre.
“A child can be legally and anonymously relinquished at a specialised adoption agency. To find the nearest specialised adoption agency, call ChildLine at 1098 or go to http://cara.nic.in/Stakeholders/India_map.html and select any state.”
