Abbas Khan becomes first Indian showjumper to receive Bharat Youth Award
Indian showjumping athlete Abbas Khan has received the Bharat Youth Award in Dehradun in recognition of his achievements in equestrian sport. The 21-year-old has represented India internationally and competed at prestigious showjumping arenas abroad
Hyderabad: Abbas Khan became the first Indian showjumping athlete to receive the Bharat Youth Award in Dehradun. The award was presented by Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd.), in recognition of Abbas’s achievements in equestrian sport and his contribution to representing India on the international showjumping stage.
At just 21, Abbas Khan has established himself as a promising young Indian equestrian athlete in the showjumping category, competing internationally and carrying the Indian flag at prestigious showjumping arenas abroad.
