Hyderabad: The Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) organised “Saluting Our Heroes – Operation Sindoor” at the Engineering Staff College of India, Gachibowli, to pay tribute to India’s armed forces. The event commemorated Operation Sindoor—India’s precise military response on May 7, 2025, to the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.

Former Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu urged the youth to imbibe patriotism as a way of life, while Former DRDO Chairman Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy praised the operation’s technological and strategic excellence. Guntha Laxman highlighted ABRSM’s role in linking education with national values.

The official theme song “Shaurya Geetham – Saluting the Soldiers”, composed by Sri Ballepalli Mohan with lyrics by Sri Agaram Vasanth and Sri Ramana Vanamala, was launched during the programme. The event also featured cultural performances, felicitation of army officers, and a reaffirmation of national unity.
