Hyderabad: The Andhra Cricket Association has decided to host Andhra T20 tournament that will be held at RDT Sports Complex, Anantapur, from October 22 to November 8. Six teams will take part in this tournament.

P Sarath Chandra Reddy in a press note said the tournament will be held in collaboration with M/s Twentieth Century Media a multimedia company.

MV Siva Reddy, CEO of ACA said the tournament will be held in a league format followed by semifinals and finals with a total of 33 matches. “ Since there is no cricketing activity for more than 6 months this tournament will provide much needed game for the best players in Andhra. The players will get a good exposure,’’ he said.

These matches will be streamed Live in “Fan Code” app which is a streaming platform for “Dream XI”. There would live English commentary for the matches.

The entire tournament is designed in a Bio-bubble mode following all the statutory norms, permissions, safety and care. Practice sessions, food, accommodation and other facilities and amenities will be provided for the entire 18 days of the tournament within the RDT sports complex.

On Thursday, Siva Reddy along with the Program Director of RDT Mancho Ferrer and Carlton Saldhana from Twenty First Century Media (Pvt) Ltd – TCM- reviewed the preparations of the tournament and expressed their satisfaction about the measurements being taken to convert this tournament into a reality.
