ACB arrests Karimnagar urban excise CI in disproportionate assets case

Anti-Corruption Bureau officials arrested a Prohibition and Excise inspector in Karimnagar over a disproportionate assets case. The officer allegedly amassed illegal wealth during his posting in Rajanna-Sircilla district

Karimnagar: Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths arrested Karimnagar Prohibition and Excise Urban Circle Inspector Ramu in connection with a disproportionate assets case.

While working in Rajanna-Sircilla district, the CI allegedly amassed properties illegally, following which a case was registered against him.

As the allegations were reportedly proved in the inquiry, ACB officials took him into custody in Karimnagar on Tuesday night after informing higher officials.
