Karimnagar: Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths arrested a Saidapur mandal surveyor and two of his private assistants while they were accepting a Rs 10,000 bribe from a complainant on Friday.
According to ACB officials, surveyor Ekkaladevi Kumaraswamy demanded the bribe from a resident of Ammangal village to conduct a survey of his land. The surveyor, who had earlier taken Rs 25,000 from the complainant, allegedly mounted pressure on him to pay another Rs 10,000.
