ACB catches Kukatpally community organiser taking Rs 18,000 bribe
ACB officials caught a community organiser from Kukatpally zone red-handed while accepting a Rs 18,000 bribe from a women’s self-help group for processing a Rs 20 lakh loan. A case has been registered and the accused will be produced in court.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Tuesday caught a community organiser working in circle – 53 in Kukatpally zone, red-handed, when he demanded and accepted a bribe amount of Rs 18,000 from a women’s self-help group.
The man, K Murali, working in Moospet circle – 53, had demanded the bribe for doing official work, i.e., ‘for having processed the loan sanctioned for an amount of Rs 20 lakh for the group of women belonging to Mahila Podupu Sangam, said the ACB in a press release.
On a complaint, the ACB sleuths laid a trap and caught Murali red-handed when he accepted the bribe. A case is registered, and he is being produced before the ACB Court in Hyderabad, added the ACB officials.
