ACB nabs ADE of electricity department for bribery

ACB officials said Satish Kumar allegedly demanded a bribe from the complainant for sanctioning an electricity transformer. The complainant had after requests promised to give Rs 1 lakh bribe. Of which, already Rs 25,000 was paid as first installment earlier.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught Satish Kumar, an Assistant Divisional Engineer (ADE) of the electricity department working at the Gachibowli office, on charges of demanding and accepting bribe on Friday.

The bribe amount of Rs 50,000 was seized from him.
