ACB nabs Transco ADE in Medak bribery case
An Assistant Divisional Engineer (ADE) of Transco, Ramana Reddy, was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau in Medak while accepting a Rs 25,000 bribe from a farmer for sanctioning a new transformer. The ACB had set up a trap after the farmer reported the demand.

Medak: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths nabbed a Transco Assistant Divisional Engineer (ADE) Ramana Reddy while he was accepting Rs 25,000 bribe from a farmer at Kagaz Madduru in Narsapur mandal on Friday.
The ADE reportedly demanded a Rs 30,000 bribe from a farmer for granting a new transformer in the village. Unable to pay the bribe, the man approached the ACB officials.
The officials laid a trap and nabbed the ADE while he was accepting the bribe. He was produced before the ACB court on Friday.
