ACB raids 13 Mee Seva Centres across Telangana, finds irregularities
The Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted surprise checks at 13 Mee Seva centres in Telangana and found irregularities, including blank certificates and overcharging of applicants. A case was registered in Alwal, and a report will be sent to the government for action.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted surprise checks at 13 Mee Seva centres across the State and noticed several discrepancies.
At a Mee Seva centre in Alwal, the officials found empty attested caste, residential, income, OBC certificates; affidavits for economic weaker section certificates, non-creamy layer certificates, and empty green papers with notary stamps. A case was registered at Alwal police station in this regard.
It was also found that the Mee Seva centres were collecting excess amounts from the applicants, unauthorised persons operating the Mee Seva centre, and other discrepancies were noticed.
The ACB will send a report to the government on the surprise checking for taking necessary action against the concerned Mee Seva Centres.
