ACB registers 22 cases in July, unearths assets worth over Rs 11.5 crore
The Anti-Corruption Bureau registered 22 cases in July 2025, including 13 trap cases and one disproportionate assets case. A total of 20 public servants were arrested and over Rs 7 lakh was seized, including from surprise checks at RTA and registration offices

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has reported a total of 22 cases and enquiries in July 2025, which include 13 trap cases, 1 disproportionate assets case, 1 criminal misconduct case, 1 regular enquiry, and 6 surprise checks.
During the same period, the ACB trapped and arrested 20 public servants, including two outsourcing employees. About Rs 5.75 lakh was seized in trap cases from various departments.
In the only disproportionate assets case of the month, the ACB unearthed assets worth Rs 11.5 crore. Surprise checks conducted at RTA check-posts and sub-registrar offices led to the seizure of Rs 1.49 lakh in unaccounted cash.
