Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Tuesday conducted simultaneous searches at the residence and other premises linked to HMDA Chief Engineer Bachu Ravinder in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
Acting on allegations that the senior official has amassed assets beyond his known sources of income, ACB teams led by DSP Majid Ali Khan took up simultaneous searches at around 12 locations, including Ravinder’s residences and properties linked to his relatives and family members, and the HMDA office.
Officials are verifying documents, financial records and other assets as part of the ongoing investigation.
The searches were still underway at the time of filing this report, and further details are awaited.
