ACB seizes unaccounted cash at RTA check posts across Telangana

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Telangana conducted surprise checks at RTA check posts across the State.

Seven teams of the ACB conducted searches at Bhoraj check post (Adilabad), Vishnupuram check post (Nalgonda) and Alampur check post (Gadwal).

During the searches unaccounted amount of Rs. 62,500 was seized from Bhoraj check post, Rs.86,660 at Vishnupuram and Rs.29,200 from Alampur check post, said ACB officials.

Apart from the unaccounted amount, several irregularities were observed. The officials said a report will be sent to the government against the erring officials for taking necessary action.
