ACB traps Endowment Inspector while accepting Rs 50,000 bribe
Anti-Corruption Bureau officials arrested an Endowment Department inspector in Hyderabad for accepting a Rs 50,000 bribe. The official had allegedly demanded Rs 1.50 lakh for issuing a land survey report and was caught red-handed during the transaction.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths on Wednesday trapped an inspector working at Endowment Department red-handed when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 50,000.
The official Akavaram Kiran Kumar, Inspector Endowment, working at the office of Assistant Commissioner, Endowment Department, Hyderabad, had demanded a bribe of Rs 1.50 lakh from a man for issuing a survey report in respect to a land located at Bagh Amberpet. “On Wednesday, the official was caught when he accepted Rs 50,000, a part of the amount of Rs 1.50 lakh,” said ACB officials.
Kiran Kumar is arrested and being produced before the ACB court in Hyderabad.
