Karimanagar: Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths trapped Panchayat Secretary while accepting Rs 20,000 bribe from a victim in Challur of Veenavanka mandal on Friday.
According to ACB officials, Kumbam Nagaraju demanded a Rs 20,000 bribe from the victim to allocate a house number for the construction of the house. Not interested to pay the bribe, the victim approached the ACB, who hatched a plan and trapped the panchayat secretary while accepting Rs 20,000 bribe.
