ACB traps two Sultanabad municipal officials
The Anti-Corruption Bureau apprehended two municipal officials in Sultanabad for allegedly accepting a bribe from a resident. The officials demanded Rs 5,000 for house number allocation. ACB officials, led by DSP Vijay Kumar, successfully executed the trap.

Peddapalli: Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths trapped two municipal officials while they were allegedly accepting bribe from a person in Sultanabad municipal office on Saturday.
According to ACB officials, a local resident Prasad made an application with the municipality for the allocation of a house number. RI Vinod and Bill-collector Vijay demanded a Rs 5000 bribe to allocate house number. Not interested to pay the bribe, Prasad approached ACB sleuths, who trapped municipal officials while accepting Rs 5,000 bribe from the victim.
Two officials were taken into custody by ACB. ACB DSP Vijay Kumar along with his staff participated in the trap.
