Hyderabad: TPCC president A Revanth Reddy said he would arrange felicitation programmes for workers, who strive for the party’s development, involving party senior leader Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi.
At the same time, after January 26, action would be initiated against all those, who were indisclipined towards the party, he warned.
Addressing at the two-day political training programme for party workers here on Tuesday, the TPCC president said discipline was an important aspect in Congress party affairs. “No one should speak about party affairs in public domain. They are free to raise issues in party internal meetings,” said Revanth Reddy.
He said BJP and TRS were two sides of a coin and both the parties were deceiving the farming community. Congress was the only party, which strives for the welfare and development of farmers, he said.
CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said the designations of leaders keep changing in the party but workers were important for the success of a political party.
“Team work is important to defeat TRS and BJP parties,” said the CLP leader adding that a few parties were deliberately defaming Congress party to derive political mileage.
Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy said BJP was instigating communal differences among people to gain political strength.
Congress is a decades-old party. Desperate attempts were being made by BJP party to alter the country’s history. After BJP came to power, there was no freedom for the media, he charged.
