Veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu has reportedly gone into hiding after the High Court rejected his petition seeking anticipatory bail in the attempt to murder case on a vernacular news channel journalist.
Hyderabad: Veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu has reportedly gone into hiding after the High Court rejected his petition seeking anticipatory bail in the attempt to murder case on a vernacular news channel journalist.
He reportedly has been unavailable to the police since the court order on Friday.
Following his discharge from the hospital on Thursday, the actor told the Pahadishareef police he would be available for recording statement at his Jalpally residence on Friday. However, when the police went to his house, he was not available.
It is learnt that the senior actor who had apprehensions of being arrested following the anticipatory bail plea being rejected by the court, went into hiding.
Meanwhile, five police special teams were formed to trace Mohan Babu.
