Actor Naresh’s sarcastic tweet after Prakash Raj question about MAA polls

After the strong words of actor Prakash Raj during the recent press meet, the election to president of Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) has grabbed the attention of people outside the entertainment industry too.

On Wednesday evening, senior actor VK Naresh reacted to the tweet by enclosing a copy from the general body meeting of MAA members that was held in June. He further replied, rather sarcastically, saying, “If someone just asks repeatedly when is the election? It’s like someone asking can I jump into the pool before the water is filled. Our reply would be please try sir.(sic)”

The caustic reply from Naresh angered some of the twitterati. Netizens wrote in the comments section as to what need he had to divulge the copy in which personal details of actor Prakash Raj are mentioned.

With actors like Manchu Vishnu, Jeevitha Rajasekhar, character artiste Hema announcing their candidature for the polls, MAA elections 2021-22 has become spicier than ever. Recently, character artiste and lawyer CVL Narasimha Rao too announced to contest the polls pitching the Telangana sentiment.
