Hyderabad: Actor VK Naresh, who has been extending support to the Manchu’s family since MAA elections, couldn’t stop praising legendary actor Mohan Babu.
Speaking on the sidelines of ‘Son of India’ pre-release event held in the city, the actor said if there is anyone who could lead the industry forward, it is Mohan Babu.
“He is a big brother to the Telugu film industry. We may have good actors, character artistes, and also great villains who can put up fabulous performances on the screen. But Mohan Babu is the one who takes the top place for having all the mentioned traits and characteristics. Born into a farmers’ family, he grew up as a teacher, he is the only actor who established a university,” he added.
Now the social media is abuzz with the topic — who deserves to lead the Telugu film industry? The question has been elusive since the day MAA (Movie Artistes’ Association) went to polls last year. Soon after Manchu Vishnu won the President’s post of MAA, the issue got subdued, rather forgotten by people and also the industry bigwigs. Again, the topic took precedence when the ticket hike controversy took the centre stage.
