Adilabad and Nirmal districts receive light to moderate rainfall
Light to moderate rains were recorded across Adilabad and Nirmal districts on Saturday, with several mandals receiving more than 20 mm rainfall. Despite the showers, a few mandals in Adilabad, Mancherial and Kumram Bheem Asifabad continue to face rainfall deficiency.

Adilabad: Both Adilabad and Nirmal districts saw light to moderate rains on Saturday. As per a weather report on the website of Telangana Development Planning Society, the average rainfall of Adilabad district was recorded at 15.3 mm. Neradigonda mandal recorded the highest rainfall of 26.5 mm, followed by Boath, which received 25.7 mm of rainfall. Gudihathnoor, Thalamadugu, Ichoda, Sirikonda and Sonala mandals registered more than 20 mm of rainfall.
The actual rainfall of the district was 205 mm as against 241 mm from June 1 to July 3, reflecting a deficit of 15 per cent. Gadiguda, Narnoor, Indervelli, Bazarhathnoor, Ichoda, Utnoor and Sathnala mandals were still reeling under deficient rainfall.
Similarly, the average rainfall of Nirmal district was measured at 14.7 mm. Pembi mandal registered the highest rainfall of 27.3 mm, followed by Kadam mandal, which accounted for 25.8 mm of rainfall. Kubeer, Sarangapur, Nirmal, Mamada and Dasturabad mandals had anywhere between 15 mm and 30 mm of rainfall. Three more mandals recorded deficient rainfall.
Meanwhile, the average rainfall in Mancherial and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts was 14.4 mm and 12.6 mm, respectively. Six mandals in Mancherial and five mandals in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district had deficient rainfall.
