Adilabad: ASI’s house among two burgled in Echoda mandal
Burglars struck at two houses, including the residence of an ASI, and stole a motorbike in Echoda mandal on Wednesday night. Gold, silver and cash were stolen. Police registered cases and began investigations with help from the CLUES team.

Adilabad: Unidentified persons decamped with valuables from two houses, including that of an assistant sub-inspector (ASI), and stole a motorbike in Echoda mandal centre on Wednesday night, creating a flutter.
Police said some unknown persons stole 10 grams of gold and 5 tolas of silver ornaments from a house at Sai Nagar, and 4 tolas of gold and cash of Rs 1 lakh by breaking open the iron almirah of ASI Ramesh when he was not present at his home in Vidyanagar. The miscreants also lifted a motorbike near the Santoshma temple in the mandal centre.
On receiving information about the three burglaries in a single night, police rushed to the spot and gathered evidence with the help of the CLUES team. Based on complaints received from the victims, cases were registered. Investigations have been taken up.
