Adilabad farmers perform ‘pushpabhisekam’ to KCR poster on Ugadi
Farmers in Adilabad performed a pushpabhisekam to a poster of K Chandrashekhar Rao on Ugadi, seeking his return as Chief Minister. They highlighted delays in welfare schemes, pensions and benefits, stating their livelihoods have been affected.

Adilabad: Farmers performed a ‘pushpabhisekam’ to a life-sized poster of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on the occasion of the Ugadi festival, seeking his return as Chief Minister at Mukhra (K) village in Echoda mandal on Thursday.
The farmers said their lives were derailed and that they wanted Chandrashekhar Rao to return to power for the betterment of their lives. They said every section benefited from the welfare schemes and governance during his regime. The villagers said farmers were facing problems due to delays in extending Rythu Bharosa and also regretted that senior citizens and differently abled persons were not receiving monthly pensions regularly. Pregnant women were not getting nutrition kits, while new mothers were not being provided with kits, they added.
Former MPTC member G Subhash, former Sarpanch Meenakshi and several farmers attended the event.
