Adilabad hosts 5K Run to honour Sardar Patel’s 150th birth anniversary
Adilabad witnessed a spirited 5K run on Friday to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Flagged off by Utnoor ASP Kajal Singh, the event saw participation from police staff, students, and fitness enthusiasts.

Staffers from the police department, enthusiastic fitness lovers, students and youngsters took part in the event that began at Indira Priyadarshini stadium covering important junctions of the town.
Top 20 male performers and 5 female sprinters were given certificates of appreciation at the end of the event. Addressing participants, Kajal Singh said that Patel had played a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of the country.
Additional SP Surender Rao, DSPs P Srinivas, L Jeevan Reddy and K Indravardhan, along with other police officials, were present.
